What Can These Tools Help You Decide?
Three decisions shape an MPH: which program fits you, whether you can pay for it, and when to apply. Each tool here runs on the same verified records as the rest of the site (488 MPH programs checked on official school pages) plus BLS pay for 7 public health careers (May 2025) and the federal loan limits that took effect July 1, 2026.
Why These Tools Exist
Most MPH rankings list schools without telling you what a program costs in total, whether you can still borrow enough to attend, or how its admissions work. Since July 1, 2026, new graduate borrowers can take no more than $20,500 a year and $100,000 in total in federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans, and Grad PLUS is no longer available to them, so total cost now decides more MPH choices than it used to. The cost and loan calculator shows that gap for any program before you apply.
