Dual PharmD/MPH Program at Northeastern University Program Overview 2025

Program Highlights & Accreditation

The direct-entry joint Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)/Master of Public Health (MPH) program at Northeastern University enables students to broaden the scope of their pharmacy training to include a public health perspective. Students who have completed a bachelor’s degree and all prerequisite courses may apply for this dual degree. A key highlight is the ability to graduate with both a PharmD and MPH degree in just five years, saving one full year of study. Graduates are eligible to sit for the Certified in Public Health (CPH) Exam.

Accreditation: The Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)/Master of Public Health program at Northeastern University School of Pharmacy is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).

The program is offered on-campus in Boston. It is a full-time commitment. The program meets F1 visa requirements.
