Program Highlights

The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at Florida International University with a concentration in epidemiology provides rigorous theoretical and practical training focused on the prevention of acute and chronic diseases. Delivery Modes

The MPH program is structured as a two-year, full-time program. An accelerated one-year, full-time track is also available for exceptional candidates. This accelerated option is particularly well-suited for students transitioning to medical, dental, or nursing school.

The MPH is a 45-credit program. The curriculum is composed of core public health courses (15 credits), epidemiology concentration courses (15 credits), electives (9 credits), a practicum (3 credits), and an integrative seminar/integrative learning experience (3 credits).
