  • An Applied Practice Experience (practicum).

  • An Integrated Learning Experience (Master's project).

  • Concentration-specific courses for either Public Health Practice (MPH-PHP) or Population Health Analytics (MPH-PHA).

  • Approved electives to complete the 42-credit requirement.

All coursework must be completed within six years.

Admission to the MPH Program is contingent upon admission to the Wayne State University Graduate School . WSU MPH students come from varying educational backgrounds, including nursing, psychology, public health, medicine, social work, and economics.
