Curriculum Overview
The program requires 42 credit hours and is grounded in foundational core courses covering environmental health, epidemiology, social and behavioral sciences, biostatistics, and public health policy. These courses provide a comprehensive understanding of the history, structure, principles, theories, and practice of public health.
A key component of the curriculum is a two-semester, 6 credit hour practicum in the field of public health. This experience is conducted under the guidance of a qualified mentor and an MPH Faculty Internship Advisor, providing real-world experience.
