Admissions Requirements
Applicants to the online MPH program must meet the following general criteria:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Prerequisite coursework: One course in college algebra, precalculus, or calculus (grade C or higher), and one course in college-level introductory, human, or general biology (grade C or higher; required for Applied Epidemiology and Climate Change & Health concentrations).
Two letters of recommendation.
A current resume or curriculum vitae (CV).
A statement of purpose and objectives.
A mission and values statement.
Resilience Statement (optional).
For Health Services Administration concentration applicants, a description of public health work experience is encouraged.
International applicants must submit TOEFL or IELTS scores.
GRE/MCAT scores are not required. The application process involves submission through SOPHAS (Schools of Public Health Application Service) and a supplemental application to the University of Arizona Graduate College.
