Dual PA/MPH Program at Nova Southeastern University Program Overview 2025
Program Highlights
Nova Southeastern University's concurrent Master of Medical Science (M.M.S.) in Physician Assistant Studies and Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) program is designed to enhance a PA clinician's effectiveness by integrating medical PA skills with public health insights and deeper analytical skills. This dual expertise aims to improve patient care, interdisciplinary team collaboration, and communication with facility and public agency leadership. The M.P.H. component also opens doors to non-clinical career pursuits, allowing PAs to leverage their expertise in assessing and developing public health programs, advocating for underserved populations, conducting research, teaching, and leading healthcare teams.
