Program Highlights & Accreditation

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) offers an MD/Master of Public Health (MPH) dual degree program designed for MCW-Milwaukee medical students. The program aims to integrate medical careers with public health activities to address social determinants of health and advance MCW's mission in educational innovation and community engagement. It provides medical students with a greater understanding of health issues and tools for preventing human disease. The MPH program component focuses on public health practice.

The Master of Public Health program is individually accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). The Medical College of Wisconsin is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME).
