Bay Path University's Master of Public Health (MPH) program is designed to equip students for specific careers in public health by integrating graduate certificates for stackable credentials and clear career pathways. Graduates earn both an MPH degree and a Graduate Certificate. The program is recognized as a Top Ranked Online Master's in Public Health by Fortune.com.

Bay Path University is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). The MPH program is new and, as such, is not currently an applicant for accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). However, the university's goal is to pursue applicant status for CEPH accreditation in the future.

Delivery Modes

The MPH program coursework is delivered 100% online. It utilizes an accelerated 8-week course format and can be undertaken on a full-time or part-time basis. This flexible delivery model is designed to accommodate students managing professional careers, family life, and other commitments.

Curriculum Overview

The Master of Public Health program requires the completion of 42 credits. Key components of the curriculum include:

• Three career-focused concentrations: Health Informatics, Organizational Excellence in Healthcare, and Productive Aging.

• Coursework designed to teach students how to apply theory and research to real-world public health challenges.

• A supervised MPH practicum, offering a practical field experience where students engage in applied practice activities in a public health work environment aligned with their career aspirations and areas of interest.

Admissions Requirements

The program is designed for any college graduate, irrespective of their undergraduate degree major, who wishes to pursue a career in public health. For consideration, applicants must submit the following:

• A completed application ( Apply Now ).

• Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts (a GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred).

• An original essay of at least 250 words on the topic: "Why the Master of Public Health is important to my personal and professional goals."

• A current resume.

• Two recommendations (a recommendation form is available).

Applicants may be asked to interview via phone or video conference at the discretion of the program director. Standardized tests such as the GMAT or GRE are not required for admission.
